I noticed you changed your avatar, Mich. Are you a big 50/G-Unit fan? Personally, I think Banks has put out the most consistent material over the past decade, but he tends to get ignored. Every one of his major label albums has some smashes on it. I'm a big fan of Tony Yayo. His personality and crazy sing-song lyrics always crack me up. In terms of groups, I am huge on the Wu-Tang Clan, and also a pretty big fan of Mobb Deep and Three-6 Mafia. If you ever need some music to pump you up for the gym, throw on "World Domination". That is one of the scariest, most aggressive albums in the genre.

yea use to be a huge fan when he was still unknown doing mixtapes in ny. I think banks never got the promotion he needed to really make it.Yayo just rapped as a hobby but he had some nice stuff here and there.

as much as I hate the super simplified lyrics of 36 they do put out some music that makes you wanna dance or go lift a mack truck.

DMX is still some awesome stuff to toss shit around to. That 96-01 hip hop is the absolute best IMO. Early Fiddy (1st major record, 1st G-Unit, 1st Banks) is the truth too. Second and third record Outkast and Goodie Mob is friggin bad ass as well. I havent been into anything new lately except for Tyler the Kreator, but only because he's a jackass and makes me laugh with all the outlandish shit he says.
