Thick cut bacon bits as well.

I think the result will be something similar to banana nut bread with bacon. Probably be tasty for breakfast and more paleo than oatmeal.
So what did you do with the sweet potato and banana? Did you mash and mix them together or something?

I haven't tried it, but I'll surely try it. looks good if I top it with butter. What do you think?

Sweet potato is a GREAT source of natural potasium so you might actually be getting rid of some water. My joints already feel better when I use ONLY sweet potatoes as my carb source instead of a mixed one (Where I include white rice and popcorn post workout), so even if they do make me shed water, they still keep my joints nice and lubed.

I dont think you have anything to worry about

I cut mine into fries and dip them into melted marshmallows on days that I can have carbs. Pinch of cinnamon goes along ways too!

Yes dear i like to eat sweet potatoes. It is my favorite food item specially in the evening. It is also good food before any workout because it has protein and iron which are good for body.

No way. They are DEFINITELY not paleo, and paleo is about the only diet out there with any decent science behind it.

Ummm...this is EXACTLY the reason so many of us girls (Jodi, me, atherjen, shehulk) left years ago. Keep your crappy attitude to yourself, mister. And I'm pretty sure you either a) misinterpreted Berard's post or b) are not understanding what we mean when we say 'paleo'!! Either way...

Adam's problem in understanding Paleo arises because he is still struggling to escape from Precambrio

I used to eat a lot of sweet potatoes. I've gravitated toward regular potatoes anymore now a days.

I used to just mash them. Boil them with skins on, drain, mash up, throw in some splenda brown sugar mix and have at it. Simple and easy way to make carb dishes for a few days worth of meals. For some reason I can't quite explain I used to enjoy dipping apple slices in the mashed up potatoes. Was just one of those strange cravings I would go through from time to time.
