I appreciate the nick name. Have you read any of the emperor series by Con Iguldon (sp?). Its all about Julius Caesar - I think the 4th book details his fights with the German tribes and describes them as quite banshee.
Any how, to the OP, I say again, don't neglect the PKC. Running is great, but can often lead to imbalances of quad to ham/glute strength. Good mornings are a great exercise, as are reverse hypers is you dont have access to a GHR.

Nope, haven't read that one so far, but I have read quite some books on this topic. One of 'em ist the Germania of the aforementioned Tacitus. The Edda written by Snorri Sturluson, the Heimskringla (decent stories of many danish, norse and icelandic kings), the Sagas and various ancient mythology tales from Germany (like The Nibelungen Saga, The Tale from Widkund, Battle of the Teutoburger Woods and the whole story about Arminius, the chieftain of the German tribe of the Cherusci. Well, there were some historic books too about the Migration Period in the Dark Ages (on behalf of the Normanni, Goths, Vandals, Franks and Anglo-Saxons (and a bunch more).
Are familiar with the Sagas? Ragnar Lodbrok, Harald, the Hard, Sweyn, the Forked-Beard or King Olaf Tryggvisson? Man, those a great tales.
I am always looking for a good read
Today no training. Pain in the right wrist, because I have slept quite twisty. Ah well, tomorrow will be another day![]()

I really don't see that guy going anywhere very fast. Haha
You should try car pushes for some good HIIT training if you dont have access to a prowler. Throw it in neutral (turn it off so you dont breath exhuast fumes), push it up a very slight incline for 20-30m. Hop in, roll back down, a few A skips to freshen up, repeat.

Guess what? I'd love to do that stuff, but nevertheless, I don't have the equipment right now. I am also curious to try out kettlebell training someday. Hell, all those oldschool training regimen are kick ass programs if you ask me. Lifting tires, chopping wood and lifting heavy weights on everyday occasions seems a great thing to me, too.
Okay, that's it for today - I am fed up. ^^ Had the HIIT-Session of my life:
HIIT-Session on treadmill with additional weights: approx. 12 kg (! , thats 26,45 lbs., 2x 5kg vest, one on the back, the second in the front + 2x 1kg ankle weights), maximum running speed @ 15 km/h
Workout evening:
main
Front Squats + classic Squats to exhaust
Bench Press
Lat-Pulldown
complement
Barbell Calf Raise
Abdominal Crunches
Motivational of the day:

Bah, today was a good day to die...nearly missed an exam on microeconomics II just because I've looked up the wrong time. 25 minutes out of a 60 minutes exam. Nevermind, finished in time, but the result was somewhat unstructured. With A LOT of luck, I might pass. It would have been an A grade without this freaking haste and chaos. Oh well, at least I attended the exam, lol...
made my fu***** day. Rage time in the gym.
main
Dumbell Squat
T-Bar Row + Upper Back Machine
Dips
Power Snatch
complement
Abdominal Crunch.
've been up too long = slept to long and was a bit drowsy today. Nevermind, the workout was still magnificient.
main
Deadlift
Standing Barbell Military Press
Pull-Ups
Standing Barbell Twist
complement
Grappler
Something motivatin for today:

True story.
DAT Power. Written exams in Microeconomics I. Hi(i)t the gym afterwards for the treadmill: hill runs, max incline at 9,5 % with +6 kg weighted vest. Was pretty tired thereafter, so I took a nap (well, that was refreshing!). Hit the gym again in the evening. Training was tough but I powered through.

Leg Press
Bench Press
Barbell Row
complement
Prone Incline Dumbell Bat Wings (helluva monster name for the exercise)
Abdominal Crunch
Time to enjoy a mammut-meal now and chill down. Three exams written, two more to go in march. Oh, and a motivational of the day. True story, that.
