FYI, the site works great in Chrome. No problems here.

Chatbox fails to load on port 443, i.e. https. So if addons like HTTPS Finder or HTTPS-Anywhere are used chat will just continue to load. Confirmed by adding M&M exception to said add-ons.

Upon further investigation it looks like all JavaScript commands fail to execute over 443 in general. e.g. like/dislike/thank action

Also the notification feature does not reset. e.g. If I have a new like, I click the corresponding notification to take me to my CP etc. The title bar stills says I have 1 new notification. I suspect this is a PHP issue, but couldn't say for sure w/o looking at server logs.

Physicus and Odium, feel free to use the vB4 style. Bottom left corner of the page, drop down box says M+M Dark. Grab it and select vB4 Default.

I might be missing something, but I don't see a drop-down box that allows a change of style. There was one in the lower-left corner before the redesign, but I don't see one now.

My comments:

1. The arrow to close the chat box doesn't seem to be working for me. Having the chat box load in every page is annoying, and a way to close it would be nice.

2. Having multiple different styles would be nice. I do think the default looks good, but for the amount of M&M reading I do, I'd prefer a black-on-white style.

1- under the forum Menu select Forum Options then select General Settings in the drop-down menu.
2- The fist or second option allows you to turn chatbox off via a radio button.

The new design is fantastic, and the site renders nicely in Chrome.

One problem: chat box won't stay minimized.

the "white on black"-issue aside, I also like the new design. There is however a new "feature" I dislike < the "dislike" option... I mean come on guys that is an invitation to diss people and certainly not something that will contribute to the overall quality of the conversation here at M&M

Have to agree here lets just use a carrot not a stick, self regulation guys lets not arm ourselves up here.

Am I the only one who cant seem to access older chat conversations to see where a topic originated, can increase the size of chat box but cant go backwards on it?

Oh and my eyes are bleeding, is there a black on white option?

In the "Blogs" tab, it appears that the text/background color combo on "commented" posts is white on white. Reference Niflheim comment on an entry by GaWd. (This is when using Google Chrome)

We have set the default size of the chatbox using the administration settings. After that, I don't believe we have any control. If ytou need a bigger chat window, open the chat window using the button marked "Full Page Mode". It should look like an arrow.

To read prior conversations, click the [Archive] link next to M+M Chatbox.

Quoted text appears to change the color of the text so as to be almost unreadable...

I have noticed that if I minimise the chatbox, it automatically reopens a few moments later.

just to note, if you already had tapatalk on your phone and M+M isnt working yolu may have to search for the site again on tapatalk and re-login.
