    Question Mike's Transformation Blog - Advice Needed

    Hey guys,

    I'm new here and I've started a new blog series at Mind and Muscle Blogs | Bodybuilding Blogs to log my progress via video posts and daily blog entries.

    To begin I need to lose some serious fat. After some warming up, I'm going to follow Mark MacDougal's "Lose Fat Like You're On Crack" routine. I think I'm gonna start taking Rezolution right off as well.

    Looking for some advice on cutting diet... I know there's lot's of good info posted in here already which I'll be perusing for days, but if anyone has any specific advice for me after you see my pics/stats (I'll post my first written entry tonight) I'd really welcome it!

    What supplements do you guys think are necessary when cutting? I was thinking that this would be a cool time for someone to try recompadrol and Taurus has a new T2 product.

    If you decide to take Benson's advice, I think only a multivitamin (if that) and fish oil will be necessary.

    Start slow...PSMF+LFLYOC will be quite a shock to the system. I suspect that PSMF+LFLYOC+Stimulants might be a bit heavy, nawmean?

    A T2/T3 product might be counter-productive for Mike. Since he is essentially untrained and likely follows the American Standard(tm) diet, his hormones are probably hosed already. A thyroid product might make that worse.

    I suspect that LFLYOC and PSMF will have him, well, losing fat like he was on crack.

    I think PSMF + LFLYOC might be a bit much together, even when using stims. Calories on a PSMF are pretty low, and LFLYOC is fairly intense. I'd either opt for a more basic workout scheme plus PSMF, or LFLOYC plus something more modest like Paleo or other form of low carb diet.

    I basic full body workout 2-3 times a week should be fine. A few heavy sets per body part at 5-8 reps would work. Calories are extremely low on a PSMF and too much exercise or too much intensity can actually be counter productive. It would increase the drop in metabolic rate. With the extreme caloric deficit he will have on a PSMF diet I doubt a couple hundred calories burned from exercise would even make much of a difference overall. ECA + PSMF should be enough

    (my workout experience I was on a pretty serious stint for a couple years around 2001-2002 where I went through a few cycles and put on quite a bit of muscle - did some transdermals mostly. After that things dropped off and I've been off-and-on but fairly casual since then. I went through P90x a couple years ago and saw some some great results (mostly leaning down).

    Working on a video update to post tonight guys - Today was my first day of tightening the screws and hitting the LFLYOC routine. Wooooo!
