If you rep for a company I need you to enter your affiliation into your signatures please and to contact an administrator or moderator so your name can be entered into the Rep user group.

This goes for EVERYONE! Even if your company isn't a board sponsor here and even if you don't plan on promoting on here "officially" it's still only fair to the rest of our community as a whole that they realize the people offering advice do work for a particular supplement company.

Reps for companies that are not board sponsors are not allowed to create threads promoting their company or their company's products. However, non-sponsors are allowed to answer question about their products.

I dont understand why reps for companies that arent on this board arent allowed to create threads about our products.....

for me, if i work for a company that produces a crappy product, i am never going to suggest it. I just dont see why we cant promote our stuff.

Because that is advertising and if we allow non paying companies to advertise their products it would not be fair to the companies who pay to advertise here.

Be happy we are allowing non paying sponsors to have links in their sig and at least answer question and discuss their products. As you may know on most other boards this is unheard of. We decided that it is better for the community as a whole to know if someone has an affiliation so we are allowing it here.

This isn't really a point Josh is trying to get your opinion on. It's the way it is.

IMO, you should be happy Admins are allowing you to do what you do here, because in many many other places it wouldn't be tolerated. Transparency is a small price to pay for this luxury.

I'm not sure what you aren't grasping about this concept.

If someone is employed by a company they likely have a bias. Regardless of whether or not you are making promotional threads or not, displaying yourself as a company rep is only honest and the right thing to do.

It hurts you in absolutely no way as an impartial part of the community to have a sig that admits you are rep. So, deal with it.
