Fila wouldn't refund or replace them![]()
I said screw it and went for the five fingers instead
They feel great so far! Also as soon as I slipped them on they immediately felt much better than the fila skelatoes. I wanted to try on the komodo but they didn't have my size. The lady at the store said they were for more outdoor use and the KSO were better suited for indoor use. I have been wearing them to work were I literally walk for 12 hours and haven't had a complaint about then yet.
Wow really? They had a pair of the minimus at the store I was at and I didn't even try them on. Now I kinda regret not trying them at least![]()

I love my Vibrams!
These Pendlay Weightlifting Shoes I just got are pretty rad also. They suck to run and do double unders in though.
Okay, I now understand the barefoot field goal kicker. VFF may be the best soccer shoes, ever.
I played soccer in HS and some intermurals in college but I always played defense because my kicking accuracy sucked...well is sucks no more.
With Vibrams on, not only can I comfortably kick at full power but I can also put the ball just about anywhere I want with ease.
A water shoes are used for those spaces where the feet are to be expected to become watery or others washing operational areas. These look after your feet and make available stability, constancy and steadiness from Keen and etc.
saucony has sick shoes that are like the vibrams but the toes are not separated... i use them on all my deads and squats. amazing shoe.
I own a pair of Chuck Taylor All-Stars and I was expecting them to be durable after reading the reviews. I've owned the shoes for over a year now and I only use them for training. Three of the eyelets have pulled away from the material and there are other signs of wear. I wouldn't recommend the ubiquitous Chuck Taylor's.
I'm doing a write up of your suggestions and adding them to my Christmas list. For those of you who've been reading along, I've price checked a handful of these on Amazon and they really are quite affordable. And judging from people's reviews, it's well worth it to invest in a quality pair pair of shoes.
I think investing in quality is usually the best option with ANY purchase. Buy cheaper, lower quality products and they will probably need replacing in a year or two. I bought a pair or Red Wing boots for outdoor training in the winter and they have lasted for years. They were expensive but worth every penny.
After my new balance minimus i bought a pair of reebok nano v1.....and bought a 2nd pair....i find them very versatile and they even look pretty good with jeans for all day wearing....top notch shoes in my opinion!

I agree with musclehead, investing in quality is usually best.
It all depends on the person, but most of these shoes are the same thing, marketed differently. Don't fall for it.
I like having a nice pair of Vans. Once you break them in, they work for everything. Lifting, running, etc.
