It sounds like you've got a tough day on today, but I am pleased you replied so quickly. Very reasuring as some of us are addicted to this place. Well not far off.
Ah I mean that its like a timewarp - the recent threads aren't there, and also that there was a list of threads on page 2 or three that looked like they were in numerical order.

Old thread urls redirect to the main page. Not good for your search engine results!
LOL you guys it's in alphabetical order. Symbols come first. Scroll to like page 30 and you will see that all the threads start with the same letter.
Enjoy old threads or if impatient, just sort by last post
We wrestled with this for weeks but Impex simply would not do it correctly with our set up from Invision. We will get reranked soon enough. A lot of SEO on the way for the new forum.

Will it eventually be set up to view posts by date again? If I click to sort by last post it changes it, but as soon as I leave the section and come back it is back to alphabetical. It is not holding the settings.
