August Burns Red released a new album called Leveler yesterday. It's pretty hot.
Of Mice & Men released a new one as well and it was pretty good.
In Flames also released, but I haven't listened to it just yet.

You know what they say about opinions, right?
I love metalcore and just about all of its sub-genres, with the exception of this metal-tronica shit. So I take the screaming as just a part of the overall genre.
I do enjoy several other bands that employ the whole dirty screamer/clean vocals type of arrangement, but they are rare.
Opeth has a permanent place on my iPod. Their compositions are amongst the most BEAUTIFUL music there is, hands down. Not so good for background music though, you really gotta concentrate on it to appreciate it in full.
How's this for an example? YouTube - ‪Opeth - To Bid You Farewell‬‏
For those who like melodic/progressive death metal, these bands are a must to check:
In Mourning (YouTube - ‪In Mourning - Debris‬‏)
Pressure Points (YouTube - ‪Pressure Points - Grand Delusion‬‏)
Omnium Gatherum (YouTube - ‪Omnium Gatherum - A Shadowkey HD Audio‬‏)
In Sweden they know how to play, if nothing else!![]()

Grew up listening to Kiss, Journey, UFO, Montrose, CCR, Stones, Boston, Clapton...then Halen, Judas Priest (that is also on my iPod), Scorpions, Y&T (also on my iPod), Black Sabbath & Ozzy, and when Metallica came on scene and I heard Ride the Lightening for the first time...my love for metal was born!
