Cholesterol Monitor recs?

I recalled today that these things exist but I have no idea if they work or if they are junk like BF% through electrical impedence.



Any recomdations?

I'd call QuickMedical for special pricing on one of these. The CardioChek PA is used by medical pros so they are fairly accurate-- when used properly. BF% monitors work when they are used properly, too.

But a better idea is just to call them, since they are pricey items and you seem to have questions!

If you're looking to lower cholesterol, be aware that high cholesterol is a symptom of hypothyroid. Cholesterol can be lowered by bringing TSH down to 1.9 or lower: http://www.lef.org/protocols/appendi...erence%20range
