Full Version: Ephedrine For Bulking

Has anyone used ephedrine for the purpose of bulking? I am interested in trying small doses spread out throughout the day - this was suggested by Bryan Haycock and sounds interesting.

I have dosed my ECA stacks and such, as mentioned, for quite some time. Unlike Clen which has a long half-life, I find that dosing my ECA products over 5-6 servings gives me a longer high, without a sharp spike. Thus, I get a longer increase of energy, without the jitters, and without the sudden plummet. I dose all of my stimulant stacks this way, and have done so for quite some time.

Regarding bulking, that may help if you had a moderate surplus of fat, since you would still be able to build muscle and lose some of the excess stores of adipose tissue, but for general bulking, I would limit its use. It could help before a workout to intensify your efforts (and thus indirectly help with muscular gains), but it can also decrease Insulin sensitivity. If your bulking diet is somewhat reckless, then perhaps it could minimize some of the excess from going toward fat.

He also went into a little more detail in one of his posts (hsnhst board or thinkmuscle - sorry I don't have a link) and said he was having good results with E use (nutrient partitioning, IIRC) during his bulking cycle.

I often use 1/2 of a bronkaid (25mg effidrine sulfate per cap) before a qwork out and the otehr half after with my shake. It has been shown in numerous studdies to increase glucose uptake in skeletal muscle, just search pub med. I do not add caffine or asprin while bulking. I think this works quite well. Not as well as vanadyl but keep in mind vanadyl sulfate seems to work incredibly well for me, as lots of other people say they get nothing from it but I get tremendous increases in muscle water content. Anyway I get similar results with E alone plus it gives a nice boost to a workout.

Interesting you mention the vanadyl, I hear varying feedback from individuals but have noticed no benefit from it myself (AST product). The guys I know that do like Vanadyl use the Sportpharma product.

I use the dirt cheap ultimate nutrition product at 90mg per day. 3 tablets with my 3 big meals. the results I see are definantly temporary lasting about 4 hours but its is very, and i mean very noticable. That is why i recomend it, its unbelivably cheap and It shows some results. 300 tab bottle of ultimate nutritions product goes for 11 bucks.

Anybody thought about synephrine/bitter orange for bulking rather than ephedrine? Its considered its "cousin". I hate to think of having to use ephedrine for cutting long-term, then continuing to use it for bulking, so I'm curious if anybody's thought or read anything about using synephrine for this purpose instead.

Any thoughts?

I have used it while/for bulking. Usually I take it after my meals and not before. That way you don't suffer any appetite problems. Cheers.

Have you noticed any difference with body composition with the use of ephedrine while bulking as compared to without?

i'd like to know this too. and does ephedrine mess with creatine like people say caffiene does?
