If the objective with morning-dosed GH is to avoid interupting the natural circadian/diurnal release after falling asleep at night/very early morning.......AND.....the fact that GH only has a half life of a few hours.......how is it that it improves sleep some 15 hours later(or even effects it at all)?

I was not aware that hGH had a half life of only a few hours. Not disputing it. I'll have to look into this a bit more. hGH clearly influences other hormone cascades. It could be thorough this pathway that it influences sleep and other benefits. There are myriad growth factors that are down stream conversions in the liver and target tissue that occur from circulating hGH as well. I haven't dedicated enough research to this to cite any specifics but I am aware that other hormones are influenced by hGH levels and pulses.

and is nocturnal release, not diurnal release.

i was doing some other research and may have found something relevant to this thread. GH production cause an increase in two components that influence the suprachiasmatic nuclei - GABA and somatostatin. GABA is the wake up AA responsible for terminating melatonin production. Normally released by the retina and into the SCN at the first sign of daylight. This helps to set the circadian rhythm and may influence better sleep cycles. Just MHO

I generally take sublingual GABA before bed. If it terminates melatonin production etc., is this really such a good idea?
