The thread title says it all. It seems nobody really has any solid information, and I'd really like to know. I've been dosing 50-150mg a day for a few weeks.

I'd like to know as well

I havent seen any research indicating that it is. Isn't it just Gaba molecularly bonded to Niacin?
Why would anybody even imagine that it could be a MAOI???
You could ask whether elves have purple belly buttons and not get solid information on that too!!
No idea man. So many sources say it IS, that its weird. on the other hand, a friend of mine took about 600mg in a day, said he felt nothing, and went out drinking, and hes just fine. There is a lot of confusing (mis) information about picamilon.
You must be confused, What sources say it's a MAOI? It's just GABA and Niacin. The Niacin helps the Gaba cross the BBB. Low doses it can make you calm and focused. High doses dizzy, hyperawarness and vigilance, drunk/high like feeling.

A lot of online forums say it may be a reversible mao-b or mao-a, with mild action. I wish someone could share anecdotes about combining it with ssri or something that would interact with mao inhibitors. Mostly I want to know since I have largely stopped taking antihistamines due to this fear, and sometimes I need the allergy relief. I refer to benadryl or nyquil (never together of course)
It's incorrect. There is nothing about it that would make it an MAOI. It is also not contraindicated with SSRI's unless I've just been lucky but I'd know when Serotonin Syndrome was close.I've been there mildy and I also have taken antihistamines with Paxil (in small doses of course) and know that it's contraindicated but I just don't see it causing SS for me unless I was taking a large dose or dosing through the day. I've combined Picamilon with a nightly dose of 30mg of Paxil for some time without ill effects. I've also combined Phenibut with it and no issues. I just don't see any research indicating that it is an MAOI. I'd think you'd be safe but again, everyone is different. Look at Baclofen and it's community of users. It's essentially Gaba that can cross the BBB as well and I know for a fact, it's not contraindicated with SSRI's.
