Default List Your Best Performance Enhancers

I'm trying to compile a list of performance enhancer/muscle building products as we are thinking about making a section in our store specifically for these type products.

Right now we have Jarrow Liquid Carnitine, Jarrow Creapure powder, l arginine, and several whey proteins. The only single ingredient products I can think of off hand are argining alpha-ketogluturate and beta-alanine. I think we had glycine propionyl-l-carnitine by Jarrow but it did not sell so we got rid of it. I'm not sure that it would be at the top of anyone's list. Whether it's a single compound or a blend, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

A lot of people have talked about betaine on here. You can buy it in bulk in the store here. What about Cordyceps? I've never used either, but both seem to be performance enhancers.

We have cordyceps, we'll likely put our mushroom products near that section or vice versa.

Yeah betaine enhances NO right? This is why beet juice is good stuff.

Beet juice increases NO via nitrates. I'm not sure about betaine increasing NO, I know little about the stuff...

I remember seeing a couple of studies where they gave athletes 0.3 g/kg of body weight. Which is a quite a load of baking soda!

For what it's worth, I used to take 5-10g of sodium bicarbonate before a workout. I definitely noticed a slight improvement in endurance (whether placebo or not), but had to give up using baking soda because of the stomach problems it caused (I ended up spending way too much time in the bathroom...).

And a word of warning, the stuff tastes vile. I'm used to drinking bad tasting stuff and use lots of bulk powders, but this I find unpalatable. I tried to mix it with other stuff to mask the taste, but that only resulted in a FAIL. As such, I would strongly suggest capping it.

It's just salty. I wouldn't say it's super bad. I've certainly had worse.

5g pre workout is the usual suggested dose, and it is very underrated, IMO. I'm glad someone mentioned buffers, as even I had forgotten about them.

using NaBicarb everyday, myself and not only does it help with workouts but also with digestion (mine used to be sluggish and NaHCO3 works wonders for that)
