both of these forms are rather expensive, and i doubt you would notice much of a subjective difference. i would personally go for Magnesium citrate, and add some other supps for mood and anxiety, like Taurine and Glycine, for example. if, however, you are looking for a better form of magnesium than citrate though and dont mind the extra cost, then i would imagine that Magnesium Taurate would be a better choice

so i decided to try mag glycinate, and add taurine later if i want. does it matter if i take it in morning or at night - maybe a split dose is best? what about with the taurine - is it best to be taken at the same time as the magnesiuM?

i would do both at night before you go to sleep. if you want to be extra relaxed during the day, you can take them during the day too. in terms of their long-term benefits it really doesn't matter what time of day you take them.

but the taurine, especially at higher doses, tend to make me a little bit drowsy, so i always take it at night an hour or so before i go to bed.

what about the timing of the taurine relative to magnesium ingestion? i heard that they synergize... does this imply synergy from taking them in the same insntance or just general long-term overall effects that come with just having both in your system?
